10 Week OB-GYN Visit (10 weeks/ 2 days)

I always get excited and nervous about an OB-GYN visit.  I know that some of my fears can be put at ease but I am get nervous because I want baby Turner to be okay and healthy.

So, today was another visit and another ultrasound.  It’s amazing how much the baby has grown in just two weeks.  Luckily everything is going fine.  I had a little brown spotting this morning but the doctor said it was nothing to be worried about. She did suggest to hold off on doing something for a minute (watch the video to see what that is). Baby is starting to look like baby!  We’re on the downward slope now for the first trimester – which means announcing our news to our family and friends.

Next stop, Fort Benning, GA to watch my husband graduate from Airborne School and come back home to me for good after five months!

Belly in Disguise (10 weeks/1 day)

Belly go down!  Go down belly!  Little people shouldn’t be this bloated, especially when you need to wait until the end of the first trimester to tell people.  Okay?!  You must not have gotten the memo.  You must find joy in having my pants feel the need to unbutton the top button.  You laugh at me teaching Zumba with my stomach tucked in!

Well guess what!  I found a pair of pants that can hide you for awhile.  So take that!!

(Excuse, part of being pregnant is being emotional, and obviously I’m going through a little bit of that right now!)

Pregnancy, Insomnia and Bloating – Oh my! (10 weeks)

Yuk, yuk, yuk!  I love to sleep.  Sleep is one of my closer friends in life. So why are we having so many issues with each other?  Why does she no longer want to hang out with me?  I keep trying to get in contact with her, but for some reason Sleep always sends Insomnia instead.   Help me please!!

Our First Thanksgiving (9 weeks/6 days)

Milton was able to fly in the afternoon of Thanksgiving for our first married Thanksgiving together.  We enjoyed eating lunch with just the two of us and later went around down visiting family and friends.  On Friday, his mother and brother drove down from IN and his mother brought some amazing food (including chocolate cake!).

Milton saw many of my videos for the first time and felt a little left out so we made a video together!

No Need For These (8 weeks/2 days)

While looking through the bathroom closet I ran across something that I won’t be needing for a really long time!  And it sucks, because it was a big jumbo box!

Royal Stalkers and Pregnancy Pooch (7 weeks/4 days)

Let me be the first to say I think the Royal Family is stalking my husband and I!

First, they get engaged on the same weekend that Milton and I get engaged – October 20-22, 2010.  We went on and started planning our wedding, but the creepers they are – Prince William (and the soon to be Princess) Kate decided to plan their weekend the same weekend as our – April 29-30, 2011.

So now, Milton and I are trying to celebrate being pregnant with each other and who decides to rain on our parade?  Good on Catherine Dutchess of Cambridge now has the media on a frenzy that she too is probably pregnant.  Please note the date I’m writing this post – we’ll see what happens with her a Prince William in June of next year.  If nothing else, Baby Turner will have a play buddy!
